MECHANICAL ENGINEERING INTERN

POSITION OVERVIEW 
We are excited to offer an opportunity for enthusiastic and motivated student in Mechanical Engineering to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for a candidate with a strong interest in mechanical engineering and a desire to work on innovative projects. The successful candidate will collaborate across various disciplines, including materials, mechatronics, and electrical engineering.

LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES 

This position offers excellent hands-on experience throughout the entire engineering process, from design to analysis, manufacture, implementation, and testing. You will engage in a variety of tasks, providing a comprehensive understanding of mechanical engineering. This role will allow you to develop your skills in a collaborative environment while contributing to impactful projects.

KEY AREAS 

1. Engineering Design Processes
   • Collaborate on engineering design processes, focusing on creating and refining detailed 3D CAD models and drawings for manufacture.
   • Employ creative and innovative thinking to solve unique and difficult problems.
   • Ensure accuracy and adherence to industry standards.

2. Engineering Analysis
   • Conduct engineering analysis using calculations, finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to evaluate and optimise designs.

3. Project Engagement
   • Participate in innovative projects that drive sustainable and transformational global outcomes.
   • Work in a supportive environment committed to mentoring and professional development. ​
